Started with this team from late sixties. Joe Morgan, Jimmy Wynn, Bob Watson, Doug Rader, Don Wilson, Larry Dierker, Fred Gladding, Jim Ray, Johnny Edwards, Wade Blasingame, Roger Metzger, and in New Orleans listening to Gene Elston & Lowell Passé on the radio.

Guys! Thanks for the fun run. I lost my grandmother in April of this year. Her and my grandfather are the reason I love the Astros. We'd spend the summers with them growing up and they took us to see the Killer B's in the Dome and then the "New" Killer B's in Enron/Astros Field/Minute Maid.
This has been an emotional roller coaster and I'm glad we get to share it.

I just keep thinking of Jim Henderson's pigs flying comment after the NFCCG. So true here too for a kid that grew up in the 60's and 70's following the Astros and Saints

what an incredible team. every player had at least one clutch contribution this postseason. ive been an astros fan since the navy and gold days of my youth and this is by far the most fun ive had watching a baseball team. a big part of that has been lurking in the DATS over the last 3 years. i know i dont contribute much but i wanna thank you baws for all the hot takes, gifs, and laughs.
it just seems more special to our players. verlander, beltran, and mcann get their much-deserved rings. gattis after all hes been through. the most likeable mfer on earth in jose altuve is a goddamn champion. bregman and correa with a special start to what should be incredible careers.

Congrats Astros. As a fan of a team that hasn't won it in a while and won it all last year, I hope you guys party hard. What a great series. It was great for baseball and the reason why it remains the national pastime. Again, Congrats!
