That 11-1 team was something else...lost 1 game by 3 points @ Washington (#3 Rose Bowl Champ). If they weren't named Oregon State, they'd be talked about as an all-time great...fastest team I ever saw frankly, I don't think ND ever crossed the 50.

I do have basis for this opinion. They beat Indiana last year, they at least got a shot of knocking them off. They lost by 3 to Miami on the road with a first time starting QB and new defensive coordinator. Ole Miss and Oregon aren’t unbeatable.

This isn’t pre-Covid/portal/NIL. These aren’t the ND teams they would sneak into the playoff to get slaughtered by a Clemson or Bama super-team.

Pop Tart Bowl was pretty much the only game on and had no competition. Of course there would be a ton of eyeballs on the game.

Worked for me, I bought some Pop Tarts today for the first time in a long time. Hopefully the committee realizes they don’t need to bow down to ND every year.

I liked Kinder's BBQ sauce commercials, both the ones with the beef and the ones with the employees. I'm kinda curious to try it.
