OU fans, if you have to cut ties with one rival to join a new league..

Let’s say Oklahoma can join the SEC, Big10 or Pac12. You have to stay with one team and the other goes. Who would it be? OK State or Texas? You might be able to still play one yearly out of conference but if you cut ties with one who would it be?

The way I see it, if you can play A&M every year in exchange for Texas, that seems like a good deal.

Probably not the one that brings in more money, is more relevant, that they hate more, and that provides one of the most unique settings/atmospheres in CFB

OU-Texas is a historically great rivalry. It’s still great when one team or the other sucks. It exemplifies what rivalries are supposed to be.
And FWIW - they played as nonconference rivals up until 1996.
