Wow. Imagine having the mindset that you're going to forgo the opportunity to back into the playoffs and win a championship and instead, prepare for the NFL draft where everyone knows you're a 1st round pick.

He has been hurt almost the entire year, that detail is left out.

I was hoping he'd play. That would've given OSU a better shot

If he’s been hurt all year, can’t blame him.

And? If he's not injured now, he's a bitch.

feel like you left out the important detail that he has been hurt all season and hasn't played since October

Is this the first playoff opt out?

nick bosa sat out for them years ago. i think he decided that during the regular season, but they were still expected to make the CFP

so technically, yes, i think it's the first big name to be an opt out right before the CFP

This doesn't really change much...he has only played in 1 game this year. It's not like we haven't been playing with him all year and he just went down.

Wow. The reactions are so typical.

It's still sad to see a guy sit out a playoff game.

damn. I know this is the smart thing to do for college players but this screams red flag for me if I was a NFL GM.

I guess there is no shot of OP editing the post to mention that the guy has played in maybe one game this year and is still hurt.

I know, I was just hoping to see JSN and Harrison Jr out there against UGA. It's a shame he's been injured

Ya it’s not like he’s bagging out on the team.
He might be healthy enough to play but he’s not likely fully fit. Can’t blame him based on circumstances.
