YES he could have done more, but chose not to,,, IF OSU dpesnt fire him all they care about is winning at all cost... But now that its gonna take 14 days to complete the investigation I really don't see him fired... Maybe A two game suspension..........

Been saying this all along. Coach O up above keeps downvoting me, but Meyer isn't going anywhere, and deep down, he knows it.

If this was simply a family matter that needed time and no one knew about, why did tOSU need even 14 days to discuss? Meet with Meyer, Meet with Courtney Smith, meet with 5 other people and wrap up the damn investigation in 2 days.

There ya go... PLUS what is not being talked about is that Courtney Smith went to multiple people with abuse acusations and people from the staff said don't tell or press charges because her husband would be fired........

It's all for show. They won't fire Meyer because they don't want to and they don't have to. Period.

how do you even separate the two to come to that conclusion?
It is painfully obvious

People aren’t asking:

Why do we live in a society where a woman doesn’t feel comfortable leaving a man that abuses her?

Why does ourenlegal system and law enforcement not follow up when they are notified of potential domestic abuse?

Instead people are saying

Let’s fire and hold the football coach accountable for not firing an assistant who he was notified may be abusing his wife, while the assistant denied it with no formal charges

It’s painfully obnjojs what peej, yourself, and everyone else truly cares about here

And that isn’t domestic violence

I like how you’d keep someone on your staff who abuses their SO but your punter or kicker on your team can’t have a personality whatsoever

Nope. I also wouldn't fire someone over wife gossip and vague text messages.

Link to where I said I am for keeping someone on staff who you know abuses their wife?

I am assuming Lester and yourself and peej are still outraged Kobe wasn’t fired by the lakers?

I mean he was accused of rape and actually had to go to court

I’m so confused by you Lester

You must have absolutely been for the lakers firing Kobe

I mean his employees not only knew he was accused of rape, he was actually charged with it as well

By the letter of his contract & the CBA I doubt they had any recourse in that situation.

Lol what a terrible comparison though

florida football insiders

Courtney refused and drove Amy home. Upon returning “a heated argument ensued in the upstairs bedroom. Courtney stated she tried to get Zach out of her bed, which he refused and then forcefully grabbed her,” according to the police report.

The report said Zach Smith, then 25, “picked (Courtney) up, by grabbing her T-shirt and threw her against the bedroom wall.

It was the Smith’s one-year wedding anniversary.

Zach Smith, then in his fourth year on UF’s staff, was handcuffed and arrested for aggravated battery on a pregnant victim. Meyer said last week at Big Ten Media Days that in 2009 he and his wife Shelley “advised for counseling and wanted to help” the couple.

Lol

It’s only terrible because you now know Kobe didn’t commit the crime

You and others claiming Urban should have fired Smith because he “knew he committed domestic abuse” would follow the same logic that the lakers or any other employer should fire any employees accused of any crime because “they know they did it”
