I am one of the few people who thinks it is gay you're not down simply because you're piled up on some bodies. This is another disaster, just like Dyer's run last year. The progress is stopped and everybody thinks the play is dead. Yeah, I know, you have to play until you hear the whistle...but, frick Swinney and props to the Mountaineers.

I agree with you. If you are thrown to your back but happen to land on someone else, you should be down. Period.

Goes against all instincts for the game to not declare it dead.

eta: was talking about the other play not this TD play. On this one the ball was out before the runner was down - clearly a fumble.

BUT DAMN - it took some sharp eyes from the officials to call it properly.
