One of the worst officiated Final 4 games in quite a while

I had no dog in the fight so I watched that Syracuse/Michigan game unbiased. Those refs were bad. It was almost like watching the NBA with no walks being called, charges that were not called and blocks that were called charges. That game was a mess.

Did you watch Ville-Wichita State? That was just as bad.

NCAA needs to figure out the charge call in the offseason. Most inconsistently forced call IMO.

I agree. What's the deal with these refs? Hope Monday night is a better night for the Zee bruZZ.

It was ugly no doubt. Cuse got hosed at the end on the charge call for sure

Terrible game overall though

Inconsistent from the start

I think teams should have 5 more timeouts per half. There aren't enough right now.

It looked like the same guy making all of the questionable calls.

No way were they going to allow an all Big East final.

Ville - Wichita

Jump ball call at the end to seal victory for Louisville - lame call.

...but worse, all the manhandling and bumping and grabbing the refs allowed in the 2nd half to help get Louisville back in the game.

In stark contrast to how tight they called it in the 1st half.

It was one of those obvious, lets call it now to allow the team down to make a run - what you usually see in the NBA.

Are you serious? If anything the refs were against Louisville.
But yeah that jump ball call at the end was BS

It sucks because it was so inconsistent. Touch file one time, then gang rape in the lane, no call. Dammit it's tough to watch if you don't really give a shite about the teams. And that block on Cuse late was just a bad call. It was either a charge or a no call.

I thought the charge call was the correct call. It was a 50/50 call (and he wasn't completely stationary), but it looked like a blatant charge to me live.

Cuses charge was questionable but they lost all sympathy when they went for 2 when down by 3

The way Louisville won was textbook NBA. Stupid call.

Yea, the Michigan player clearly established position. I don't think anyone is really completely stationary when taking a charge. The Cuse player was way out if control though. I think that had more to do with the call than the Michigan player's position.

College refs get too excited and call too many charges... also, if they are going to call so many ticky tack fouls, it needs to move to 6 fouls to foul out.

Completely disagree about it being clear - it was 50/50 IMO, even the announcers said he could've been sliding.

You can argue for a charge there but nothing was 100% certain.

The blocking call I was talking about on cuse was the one at midcourt when the offensive player stuck out his arm and bowled over carter-williams with about 1:40 left, score was 53-49. Even though Carter-Williams didn't do shite on offense, Cuse's pressure was rattling Michigan. It was a huge call and it was terrible.

One if the refs in that game is from Denham Springs.
