That's because you picked up some street cred by breaking your jinx with the Arky/TAMU game thread. That cred had to come from somewhere, bruh

You're welcome

As a former ref in a different sport, I believe any player striking an official should be suspended from that sport for life. The only possible scenario where I would defend the player is if the official struck first.

Im not usually a fan of over reacting, but that guy needs to be kicked out of the league.

It's really not quite as bad as it seems in full context.

Say what?

The guy literally sped up and extended his arms into the ref's neck. He didn't even pretend he accidentally hit him by turning to look at what he "accidentally" ran into.

It was a scummy move BEFORE he played the 8 year old's card of "It was a accident." Afterwards...?

Meh. He gets right up on him and the legs turn sideways the instant before impact like he saw him RIGHT before the hit and it was too late to avoid. He was clearly woozy after the hit he just took on the boards. I just don't think it was entirely malicious on his part - careless for sure, but I don't think that's rest-of-the-season suspension worthy.

Yeah I guess I should take a more rational approach like most people in this thread and go with something along the lines of "Absolutely no excuse. That guy should immediately be kicked out of the league forever."

Whatever amount of games is decided, they ought to then double it because of his lame arse explanation.
