Especially since bama isn’t even really good

When Indiana wins this by 40, maybe, just maybe, people will accept that the SEC was the most vastly overrated league in history in 2025, fueled solely by hilarious propaganda from their financial backers at Disney.

Not really. IU pass defense and coverage have been excellent.

Bama’s Playcalling is arse.

It isn’t easy calling plays when you can only run the ball on G5 turds

I've been to a few Rose Bowls. Stadium is a dump. But the atmosphere is unbelievable. It's all about the game on the field. Highly recommend.

I don’t think the SEC was overrated, I just think they had somewhat of a down year. Indiana is just a really good football team, and Alabama kinda sucks.

I think this is more of an indication of how good IU is than it is the SEC being overrated.

I mean we could make an argument the Big 10 was overrated with Ohio St dropping their last 2 games. I don’t think the Big 10 is overrated by the way, I just think this is an indication that IU is the best team in the country.

I said that in the other thread. This D would feast on a one dimensional offense.

a lot of people know the SEC is overrated. This Bama team got pushed around and dominated on both sides of the line by 5-7 FSU. They have the 3rd worst rushing offense in the SEC.

This isn't Saban's Bama anymore.

Which is strange because this is what Indiana has:

#1. The best coaching staff in the country
#2. The best effeciency stats
#3. The #1 overall pick at QB
#4. Multiple high round NFL picks on both sides of the ball (Mendoza, Sarrat, Cooper, Coogan, Smith, Fisher, Ponds)

They are by far the best team in the country

They have enough time on some of them. Throw the ball past sticks. All you need is 1 of 3 to work out. But their current plan of short stuff, screens, 2 yard routes gives them an exponentially lower chance than just going downfield 10+ yards. Just need 1 of 3.

Bama’s actually mashing them but IU is so much better coached

It’s an indication

1. that too may teams make the playoffs.

2. The transfer portal has lead to there being less separation between the elite teams and good teams

They’ve been downright bad in the postseason. They got 5/12 playoff teams and I’m still not convinced they’ll get a team to the final.
