Great, so OKC is going to ruin a great WCF matchup, and the great CLE-MIA matchup will be crap even if it does happen.

Not looking good for the dream Conference Finals matchups I wanted.

Then went to Aldridge, but he was pushed out onto the perimeter and gave it right back to Tony Parker.

Don't get why you don't put the ball in Kawhis hands with Aldridge on the block and everyone else clears out. But Pop wanted it in Tony's hands, still a good option. But just think Kawhi would have been the better option. Rarely can question Pop though.

Why do you still think this SAS team is unbeatable?

They aren't unbeatable, though I think they'll still win this series. They would be a decided underdogs against GS and probably lose in 6.

Their body of work over the course of the season is more indicative than 3-4 games in a series. They are an average defensive team and nobody can simply out score GS in a shootout four times.

Playoffs are a different beast. Guys that might have been coasting on defense during the regular season (*cough* Durant and Westbrook *cough*) are finally bringing the full effort every night.

Don't know why people don't think OKC would still make a good series

And this series still isn't over

Well the diff between the two teams is that GSW wins the games they shouldn't. And OKC loses the games it should win. It's the difference between all time great and really good.

I hope you're right and I'm wrong, but I think GS ends an OKC series real quick.

Agreed, OKC has to close it out in 6. Game 7 in SA is more likely to look like game 1.

I mean it's not like putting the ball in Parkers hands with Aldridge on the block was a bad option. If a perimeter player is going to have the ball in his hands in that moment, Parker would be my 2nd option behind Kawhi.

But just a weird possession from the Spurs and Pop. I mean they went the opposite side of Kawhi there. He wasn't involved at all. Just odd.

Sorry about the loss man. But this series ain't over yet.

I'd have to agree. SAS would lose in 6 and be underdogs

The fact you think either OKC or the Spurs have a legitimate shot at GS is pretty hilarious

You've been wrong nonstop about OKC so far.

Spurs biggest strength, depth, is severely minimized in the playoffs. That Spurs go 12 deep and OKC only 7-8 doesn't really mean much in a playoff series. But it really is reflected in reg season record. these teams are pretty evenly matched.

But overall I've been consistently right about them for six years. Until they actually win the series, I expect them to blow it.

Well after game 1 a lot of folks said the Spurs were going to sweep the Thunder. Of course that was silly but the Spurs were still fairly big favorites in this series, so I'd say right now OKC is winning games they aren't expected to.

I didn't like anything we ran down the stretch on O or on D. Terribly out-executed
