I see you have reading issues.

Joker lowered his shoulder and leaned in to Dort on the screen. Foul

Dort swing his arm trying to get around and although not viciously intentional he did swipe Joker on the face and was assessed a flagrant. Joker did flop like a fish for added effect though, nice acting. I won’t argue with the call because of the last time these teams met and his flagrant then.

The refs aren’t going to give Dort any benefit. So flagrant was the right call given the circumstances.

Now, will you admit that Joker fouled him first?

lol. You don’t get that call on a lean in on a screen out high when the screener keeps his feet set.

So you will not admit Joker fouled leaning in on a screen when screeners are not allowed to lean. My main reason for asking is to reveal bias. He crouched and leaned. Thats not allowed in screening, you have to maintain your position.

quote:

What is an illegal screen in basketball? An illegal screen is a screen that doesn’t allow the defender the opportunity to avoid contact from the screener. A step must separate the screener and defender while the screener may not move laterally or towards the defender that they are setting the screen on.

Types Of Illegal Screens

Setting the screen and leaning in with the shoulder and or bumping the defender.

Having said that they would still have assessed Dort the flagrant. But should have assessed Joker the foul. Thats what people are overlooking intentionally

It was a flagrant foul and unnecessary. I just don’t give a frick. It’s fun seeing grown men cry on this board and then reiterate how much they don’t care about the NBA.

I don’t blame the announcers one bit either. Jokic flops and flails like a bitch 10x a game. It was reasonable to think he flopped there as well.

Again, no one swings their arm like that to get around a screen. You make yourself smaller to squeeze by. You don't flail your arm out at the other guy's face. It was dirty and intentional.

You wont convince him. Hes the dumbest type of homer. At least most fans of elite teams acknowledge the bad parts of what they do. With okc fans its sunshine pumping and denial 24/7

Yeah, you're probably right. But anyone that has played basketball, doesn't matter what level, and fought around a high screen knows you don't flail your arm around and cold-cock the screener. It's blatantly a flagrant foul and not a basketball move.

Will you admit Jokic fouled Dort on the screen attempt first?

Of course not. Not one non-OKC poster is willing to admit that. All of the OKC fans have admitted Dort fouled Jokic and it was a flagrant foul. There’s your agenda, one sided.

And about the announcer. He only had one angle at time of his announcement and it didn’t clearly show the face scrape. With Joker always flopping he made a good assumption.

But after he finally got a better replay during review he apologized 6 times and stated he was wrong. You wouldn’t know that because you watched some shortened clip that cut off that part.

Rarely do announcers say they were wrong but he did 6 times.

Anyways, I love how the original poster needed to create a new thread for his gotcha moment when there was already an OKC thread last night. That was to strut his stuff and make a sensationalized post. But the clip was cut off before his apologies.

That shows the absolute hate of Thunder and I fricking love it. The more hate the better, us against the world. Fans bitched for decades how it was impossible for small market teams to compete consistently and now that OKC has done it they can’t stand it. Because it makes their bandwagon teams less relevant when they've had the market for decades. Its great for the sport and gets fans talking. Thats what sports does. OKC has a lot of hate watchers lol.

OKC has the best organization in the league.
Their fans at the game are engaged and loud as frick.
Their message board fans are lame, you included

At least the OP of this thread has been here a while. You showed up gloating right about the time the thunder got good. You’ll disappear when they rebuild again or have a down year

Sure. Who cares about a common foul? We're talking about habitual flagrant fouls that can potentially injure and have injured players.

Will you admit Lou is a dirty player?

What are you blabbering about? I showed up in 2022 after they announced OU to SEC the prior July. Had read board prior but joined then. Had zero to do with Thunder.

90% of OKC threads are started by non-OKC fans. I just post in them. Its a posting board if I’m not mistaken. If the board police had their way there would be no posters left to post.

Grow some thicker skin. Its not the end of the world that Thunder are great. They won’t always be on top but should compete for some time.

There is a Pelicans board here, I never post in it. I post here on the general board. And OU board. If you want a campfire to sing songs this is not the board.

I really don’t care if you like me or not, its all based on my team doing great and thats satisfying. Someday maybe the Pels will get good and pass OKC, but not right now. Most of the NBA posters have another team they follow and just jump in to try and pile on OKC. Thats fine but I also don’t run away from it either. Some have no care about NBA and only post to trash the league and since OKC is champs, trash them by default.

Stop being so worried about trivial things.

Dort has a higher flagrant foul rate than others but less than some.

Is every player with a flagrant foul a dirty player? What is the threshold to meet your criteria, how many in 82 games? Trying to get a consensus on what classifies as dirty player. Is it just OKC players?

Man, you don’t seem to understand that there’s a lot of flexibility in these rules and how they are applied. Pretty wild for an NBA fanboi. Now do traveling and let me know if you think those rules are rigidly enforced

People here don't like you because you are incredibly weird and annoying. You have no idea how to communicate like a normal human being, at least not through a message board. It's very off-putting.

The poster who never talks basketball and only follows me around the boards is giving advice and calling out posters every chance he gets but never about the actual game.
