Ohio State might be good at foosball, but they are lacking in geography of the U.S.

Arlington, TX isn't in the American Southwest desert. Idiots.

When ESPN broadcasted Red River this year they also had a graphic for it that they used all week making it look like the Red River was between two canyons in Big Bend

I'm dumb? You ever been to freaking Arlington, Texas, or anywhere in the Metroplex? There are zero damn cacti, nor tumbleweeds and deserts. It's actually a humid subtropical climate, not the semi arid desert which this graphic supports.

Actually, I did. That's pretty embarrassing to think Arlington, Texas, is a semi arid desert. Obviously, you don't know geography either. Not surprising.

I live 10 miles from Arlington and I assure you no one gives a shite. But in your mind the Ohio State leadership is shaking in their boots because a sassy poster thinks he dunked on them on a random message board.

I'll be honest, but I didn't know until I went to AZ this year that the Saguaro cactus only grew there, among a lot of other cool facts about that region of the country.

While you’re correct, when all is said and done, I don’t really anticipate anyone genuinely harmed/screwed up for life by this “factually incorrect” post from OSU.
Part of the image of Texas world-wide is what you would find in West Texas (even though yes, the state is much more varied in it’s geography/scenery).
It’s much ado about nothing my good man.

Yeah, Northeast Texas which is about as close to Jackson, MS as it is iparts of West Texas which this would represent. Lol

Yeah, that species of cactus is only native to parts of Arizona, Mexico and California. The botanical garden in Phoenix is pretty cool. Checked it out when I went to the Fiesta Bowl.

They did the same thing when Netflix advertised Beyoncé performing at The Texan’s halftime show. It is what it is.

It’s not a big deal but I get it. It’s the “Cotton” Bowl yet there is no cotton depicted in the image, yet a cactus. Their social media team could do better.

Are there cows in Arlington?

And Atlanta doesn’t actually have peaches anymore nor Miami oranges. What of it?
