I'm taking Utah St because I think they are two relatively good defenses which will make it a low scoring affair. Also Utah is coming off a hard fought big win over Michigan. The line opened at 12 and everyone went with the home team from a P5 conference and I was able to grab it at 14.

Just saw Ohio State is laying 41 to Hawaii. I know the Bucks are gonna score, but Max Wittek has to at least be able to put Hawaii in position to score 14-21 right?
If any part of Ohio State's team looked suspect, it was their secondary.

I really like the situation spot for Hawaii. They are coming off extra rest after their Thursday game, and Ohio State is playing on a short week after a very emotional revenge game that they heard about all offseason. Add in the fact that this is OSU's first home game since the national title and all the hoopla that goes with that, and I will be betting Hawaii.

I've actually found a few reasons to possibly make Vandy a play this week, still digging.

All really good points, only thing that scares me about the uniqueness of the Ohio State QB situation is the backup is coming out firing trying to press for more Playing time, and Urban is going to let them.

Yea you have a good point. The QB competition certainly is a strike against, and it's actually one of the things I look for if I'm going to bet a big favorite. I still think there's enough in my favor to make a play.

I see people saying that Vandy's defense sucks and I don't agree at all. They bring back a lot from last year, and actually have some solid talent in the front 7. They played well against a prolific WKU team.

Why is everyone on La Tech? Bc they hung 70 on a Louisiana directional school? Although Vandy is terrible, they are still a FBS program.
