Yeah I like the points too but I just can't rationalize it. Seems like easy money but I may stay away completely

You think vandy will score two touchdowns? I think if they get 14 they may be ok
UGA will score in the 40's

No. I definitely do not
Again, ULM scored 2 TDs. Not that hard to envision, for me at least.

I don't know why everybody thinks it's so tough to envision UGA sleepwalking through a 31-13 win

In my head all week, I've been thinking of this game LINK
A Georgia team that was 5 yards from the BCSCG vs a 2-10 (0-8) Kentucky team. UGA was looking ahead to UF that week.

Oh I know. I havent touched a uga line in probably 5 or 6 yrs easy
And mainly my angle is more an indictment of Vandy. they are putrid, especially defensively. UGA will def be in the 40s+
It didnt bother me at all this week when they had lineman shite talking nick chubb either. Therefore....

It's the first thing I look for every week when the lines come out.

Solid number.
Rule #1 for me, bet numbers, not teams.

Do you bet every dog that's lined with a hook? It sure seems like it

I like that rule, but to bet the team is to bet the number, no?

The principle is correct, but he takes it too far IMO
He bets almost every home dog-that's not a profitable long term strategy
To clarify, I'm speaking about NFL. It seems like he follows a similar strategy for CFB as well

I only bet two home dogs last week. I bet one home favorite and a road favorite because I liked the number and the game was in state.
Not to mention I don't just look at a line and automatically bet the home dog, but I do take a closer look at home dogs, most especially if the original line has gone up a couple points.
The whole "numbers, not teams" mantra is not a bad strategy. It certainly has more of a science/strategy to it than "Whoa dude, UGA will win by 40 TD's. XYZ team sucks!"
Most people make up their minds about who they think the better team is before the line is even out and wind up betting the team regardless of number. The number is important.

Georgia -20
I can't lay off this spread. Vandy is absolutely terrible.
