Can't wait for this. I love that the USGA goes back to a non-traditional US Open venue. It'll be very interesting to see how this plays out with no rough...it's either in the fairway or in the sandy shite.

Love the return to the original design.
We had the USGA Southeastern Agronomist talk to us this spring during class. He will be the lead Agronomist at the back-to-back US Opens at Pinehurst. He spent some time talking about the challenges and plans for the men's and women's open.
Personally, I think it'll go fine, but probably won't become a regular thing.
