here we go again. People have different skill sets. Not everyone hits the same length. quote:

Also, this is the MO for the US Open. It's always ridiculously hard. Tiger himself said even for the week would lap the field. He made par on 1 btw with a foot tap in.

Ridiculous that Tiger is hitting these knock down cuts into greens all day, then he just steps up and hits a full drawing 8 iron to 5 feet

I'll take it a step further a say he can't carry his PW 150. It's laughable, even with GPS, how off people are on their iron carry distances. Go hit on a trackman and you will be humbled quickly.

I hit a PW something like 180 the other day... Didnt get anymore than 12' off the ground, but it went 180

Yea I used to think I could carry an 8 iron 155 until I hit off a trackman and everything was 145ish, I was like wtf I know I hit an 8 iron 155. The guy was basically like yea dumbass its called roll, you can't stop it like a pro

I hit on Trackman a week ago at Callaway demo. 280.3 carry, 312.4 total distance with 8.5 Razr Fit. That thing is just filthy long.
Btw I didn't say I play my SW 150. I typically play it to 107. I said I CAN hit it 150 with stupid low trajectory. It was a statement of trajectory, not a dick measuring contest.

Exaclty, plus I used to hit a draw which will inflate your distances. Now that I am working with a cut I am playing with a 2 club difference on everything. Kind of humiliating at first, but now my distance control has been so much better.
