Par for Bubba
If Kevin Na stays up there this week, I'd pay money to hear one of the announcers say "please someone put him on the clock"

If I were his caddy I would just tell him he is tied with Phil Mickelson in the US Open.

What is it about the US Open that makes it so difficult? Personally I have always associated the US Open with scores right around par, maybe right under, maybe a bit above. But at the same time I have always thought that The Masters was the toughest test of all the majors. It seams though that scores there are usually in the double digits below par or right at it. I know that the US Open has had several double digit under par scores that win, but again I have always found the Open to be even scores.

The courses are groomed for 2 or 3 years, to make the rough higher, greens fast, etc.

What is it about the US Open that makes it so difficult?
ETA: As well as usually playing very long.

Tall rough and lightning fast greens make it extremely tough and the courses tend to be pretty long generally. The masters has really fast greens as well, but the penalty for not hitting fairways is not nearly as severe.

And then the 14 year old follows the triple with a double.
Not a good looking day for him
