Do y'all think PSU gets a bowl invite? It would be a shame to punish players who did nothing but isnt it ultimately the bowls choice who they invite? seems like some bowls may not want to associte themselves with Penn State
If Paterno and McCreary and anyone else who knew about this is still associated with the school, then I wouldn't give them an invite. If they clean house quickly, I think I would.

That makes sense.

I can't even begin to imagine what the locker room is like for the football team on top of everything else.

No. It is morally and criminally corrupt, but it isn't an NCAA rules violation because it isn't in their purview. Nor should it be. They can't handle what is in their jurisdiction and they have no business expanding it because some creeps did some awful things at a University.

This is a law enforcement, state and school issue.

If the NCAA does nothing then that is complete bullshite. I will lose what little respect I had for it. If they can bend every rule interpretation to get Cam out of trouble then they can figure out a way to punish a program that covered up molestation at their own facilities.

Now everyone involved in this fricking scandal can all go to hell. Caring more about a fricking program than the livelihood of innocent young children that one man took advantage of.

I can't imagine the discussions that were held behind closed doors....just sickening.

I read the grand jury presentment and I had to stop halfway through. It's just fricking sick.

I made the mistake of reading it last night. I didn't go to sleep until 3 and I was exhausted at 10.

I felt like the Penn State case was not an NCAA matter -- until I reread Article 2.4 of the NCAA Constitution this morning.
I read the article. Still doesn't appear to be an NCAA matter and the NCAA doesn't need to get involved as long as the school does what it needs to do.

I mentioned somewhere this morning that, if I were the NCAA Pres., I would stay on the sideline with a rules interpretation that allowed me to intervene if the school didn't clean house.

Bit it ultimately isn't their issue and shouldn't be.

Paterno and others had to know about this for years, he started his second mile thing in '77. I bet they've have been hiding this shite since sometime around then. The guy didn't just up and start molesting boys in 1994. I bet more victims come forward and this gets way worse.

Very true....I feel bad for this guys kids (hopefully he didnt molest them) because they will forever have his stigma and according to wiki his sons are involved in coaching/sports. They will never be able to get another job in sports

Just imagine what's going through the players heads when they're in position meetings with McQueary.

If JoPa coaches this Saturday in the game against Nebraska, it will be the 1st time he has coached in about 3 or 4 years.

Do you want those frickers in your bowl game?

I wouldn't want them in a Louisiana bowl and I wouldn't want my team playing them.

They need to fire Jopa, finish out the season, and exclude themselves from bowl selection.

Also something said that Sandusky was just like your neighbor and a good guy!

is wrong with Matt Millen. Was being a shitty GM and analyst not enough?? Who in the right mind would stick up for this guy on TV??
