Speaking of the Ducks, watched a bit of the game last night and was surprised their arena was decently empty. How can such a major market/population and top points team in the league not sell out damn near every game?
The Canucks game was 99.8% full

The Red Wings game before that was 101.2% full

The Bruins game before that was 100.4% full

The Canucks game before that was 100% full

Not sure what game you watched.

The Ducks are 21st in the NHL attendance, it's pretty pathetic for the location and results.

Paul Martin officially off IR and participating in game day skate on regular line and power play #2.

Pens about to be healthy for the first time this year.

Scary.

Looks like the Caps have hit a wall...

Olympic break may be a good thing.

Yeah...Islanders, Jackets, and Leafs as well.

About time the Islanders start to play worth a shite. Columbus has won 7 straight and are in the playoffs as of right now.

It's about time the BJs start doing something. Need the hometown team to make a little run and generate some excitement in this town.

It's the first time all season a majority of their core has been healthy. Will be interesting to see how they look when Gaborik gets back, assuming they don't trade him.

Preds just traded Kevin Klein to the Rangers for Michael Del Zotto

not sure why, but thoughts?

I really like Del Zotto. I'm not that familiar with Klein, as I rarely watch the Preds, but Del Zotto is a frustrating guy to play against.

Caps losing streak is at 6 games. No signs of stopping, especially now that Ovie is out. Pretty much anything that could go wrong, has since we flipped the calendar.

Klein-del Zotto is basically that Preds didn't want to pay a 5 year $14 million deal for a 3rd line defender (or 2nd line on off-side). Rangers coach just doesn't like Del Zotto. Del Zotto is also more offensively minded, something Preds want.

Great night for NBC's rivalry showdown.

Wings prevail over the Blackhawks in a shootout, what a game
