eichel literally won more face offs in last 5 minutes than he probably hass all game and series going into game.
want to see why they won, that right there. one lost faceoff=avs game leveler.
avs goaltending is average, eventually it was going to get exposed. and they arent done yet. they are still in this, till that 4th loss.

i witnessed one first hand 20 years ago with my team
we won 2 in a row at CAROLINA! then choked and lost 4 straight.
next game is a must win for you. you still in it. even if you only split, avs win game 3 lose game 4....teams can win 3 straight. we have done it multiple times.

As someone who had an angiogram with 2 stents inserted on Tuesday...maybe I need to go back to pulling for the VGK from a distance. They're determined to test my cardiologist's work. 
Obviously, I'm thrilled going back home up 2-0 but I'm not looking to buy Finals tickets just yet. 2 years ago, the Knights won the first 2 games in Dallas, only to lose the series in 7. The Avs aren't going to roll over and die.
Your turn, Habs. It's fun watching the hockey world getting turned on its head.

id be fine with a habs-vegas rematch from 2021 but this time in SCF.

This is a stat that says it all:
“MacKinnon, Nelson, Lehkonen, and Nichushkin combined for 3 shots on goal at 5-on-5 this evening.”
Good on Vegas for clogging up the lanes from the point. Avs need to be playing top circle to bumper and get nasty in front.

I've certainly been better but I haven't gone full Fred Sanford just yet.
That 2021 series is still a bit grating. Marc-Andre' Fleury has a massive brain fart late in Game 3 just as the Knights were about to take back home ice advantage. Habs had the momentum from there and you kinda knew what was coming next. For all of the good moves that VGK front office have made, letting Nick Suzuki go to get Max Pacioretty continues to be "the one that we'd like to have back."
As I said in another post, the thing that most impresses me with the Habs right now is how they seem to just bounce right back when they give up a goal. Lots of hockey yet to play but you gotta wonder how much those recent ECFs flameouts have gotten into the Hurricanes' heads.

I’ve been too depressed to post.
Doesn’t matter how pretty you were in the regular season, in the Stanley Cup playoffs the team that is willing to leave their blood on the ice is going to win. This is a beatdown. FML. Not even mad.
