Dallas problem is they can score even strength goals. It's all PP or pulled goalie situations.

Sucks that while trying to watch these other close games end, the Oilers Ducks game is already over 
I know with the terrible D played in this series nothing is out of reach, but I just can't see Edmonton losing tonight given the situation.

I feel like I see shite like that at least twice every series with Dallas.
I’m a Stars fan, I don’t know much about hockey though and only just started following hockey once I moved to DFW. So what I’m about to say may seem dumb, but to my untrained eye, Otter is insanely overrated. That 5-hole goal he gave up in the third was horrible.

I have my issues with Otter - he didn't sniff the ice in the Olympics for a reason. There are nights when he couldn't stop a beach ball but he is not the problem for Dallas
They are a perimeter, finesse team and that does not work in the playoffs as they favor old school hockey

If not for Otter standing on his head in game 2, Dallas’ season would be over. Frankly, Otter may be the only reason Dallas didn’t get swept.

I don’t think he’s necessarily the biggest problem for Dallas. But he misses some seemingly simple saves.
The goalie job is without a doubt one of the most difficult jobs in sports, they’ve got to have some of the quickest reaction times in the world. So I try to be fair about it, but damn he’s pretty frustrating.

Bettman somehow thinks it will create rivalries. But in reality, it doesn't. And it's a shitty way to determine a champion. That's why no other league implements it. The best rivalry I ever saw was Avalanche/Red Wings. And it didn't need teams from the same division forced to play each other in the playoffs.

No, you're right. He wanted to recreate what happened in the playoffs back in the late 80s with the same teams pummeling each other.
Unfortunately, that's myopic. You miss out on great rivalries like Avs/Wings, Pens/Caps, Canucks/Blackhawks as a result. Those grew organically, and happened because they met in the playoffs by destiny, not by manufacture.
