I wouldn't consider myself anything above a casual NHL fan who watches the playoffs so I'm not familiar with PK. Was he a player at the level of Messier?

They aren’t even in the same stratosphere. Mess is one of the greatest of all time.

Ehh. I'm a hockey guy that NEVER watches the NBA, but I have watched the first two Final games. Pretty good.

But the Stanley Cup blows the NBA away, as we're seeing tonight.

It's the greatest sport on the planet. In the last few months we've been privileged to witness USA v Canada for Olympic Gold. Now this.

The Four Nations tournament with USA v Canada has really kicked off a great period for the sport of hockey.

I'm familiar with Messier. But the other guy is talking over him. Was he an all star or is he more like Biz on the TNT broadcasts?

This series has been wild. Especially the 3rd periods. So much fun with no skin in the game. I cant imagine being a vegas or Carolina fan. The back and forth scoring is fun to watch

I’ve missed everything in this game except the first two called back goals and Carolina last goal

He was a solid defenseman. I find him annoying in the broadcast. He’s like a less charismatic/funny Biz. Plus the outfits are just absurd.

I did see he donated $10,000,000 of his own money to a children’s hospital, though. So hard to hate him after that.

I knew a guy that was on the coaching staff with Team Canada a number of years ago.

He said Subban was one of the most impressive physical specimens he’d ever seen coaching hockey but was uncoachable. Said he would just rif on drills in practice all the time and did his own thing which threw off break out plays. I guess he was a frustrating guy to coach and that seemed to be a common issue with him. Good player though in Montreal.

Helped Nashville get to the SCF too, with Forsberg and a great GK tandem

Carolina with a few good looks there.

Insane how different they look compared to the second period. They looked like they had essentially given up.

True. Good point. That Weber trade was such a shock at the time.

Carolina getting some bounces here.

Feels like Carolina controlling play for the most part in OT so far
