As a Caps fan...happy with the 1st round. A few quick thoughts.
1. No injuries, and we got back Protas. And he helps greatly with the PK.
2. The clearing of the puck from our zone has to improve. Carlson and Sandin have to do better or the forecheck from the Canes will kill us.
3. OV ...wow...what a PP goal last night
4. Wilson broke the Canadiens with that Game 4 hit
5. Ryan Leonard is going to be player you love on your team, hate if he is not. He is maturing quickly.
6. McMichael played terrific...and Dubois defense has been great...need him agains tthe Canes 1st line

Love your takes. I’ve been a caps fan forever, but moved away from nova a couple years ago.
Haven’t been able to watch as many games this season, a lot more checking the scores.
I like the makeup of this team though. Play some heavy hockey with good board play.
McMichael has really turned into a solid player. Leonard is starting to show glimpses as well.
I’m in Raleigh now, so might have to catch some games in RD2

I think all series will close out except Dallas Colorado
That is heart over head since Dallas record leading 3-2 and Colorado record trailing 2-3 are VERY different haha
