Really? As I recall Patterson played a terrible first half and killed themselves. They then managed to get back into it by dominating most of the second half. And while driving to take the lead late, a penalty stopped them. Far from getting dominated in my book. This team is used to getting under-changed just like against Redemptorist and look what happened there.
Patterson in a close one to win that elusive championship.

Learn some humility. I'm not even a west monroe fan. I just think the type of offense acadiana runs plus the fact that wm has the best dline in the state I don't think acadiana will have any success. Besides who really cares what us fans think, that's why they play the game. If I am wrong then great. And yes I do know just a little bit about acadiana.

ha dooubt it by the way you talked about us. I have humility all I am saying is the coaching staff at acadiana is one of they best if not the best in the state
dont count the rams out our defense is what is winning our football games right now

I'm guessing you meant strongest in the state. Doubtful they're stronger than WM's D Line. 3 future BCS lineman and Coach Sanders is in the weightlifting hall of fame. He is by far the best high school weightlifting coach in the state. He was a finalist for LSU when Moffitt was hired.

ha ha ha ah you know very little. coach davidson has been head coach since 04 and is already on his 4th title game. GIVE A LITTLE RESPECT. and yes our o-line is the best in the state. Our team must be doing something right to kill a 6 seed a 11seed a 3 seed and a 2 seed

I said this last week when someone predicted ND would score 21 against PBS. If Patterson scores 24 against PBS I'll run naked down Airline hwy. ND scored 0. Don't expect much more from phs.

I have been saying all year the ONLY team I thought had a legitimate shot at beating WM was STM because of their ability to pass the ball. Well Acadiana doesn't exactly pass the ball all to well so I dont like their chances.
Ive got a feeling its going to be VERY similar to last years game. Although I dont believe Acadiana's defense is as good as Rummel's D from last year. And WM's D is just as good as last years. Paul Turner is a winner. And he will find a way to blow this game wide open.

Acadiana was firing on all cylinders friday night. In my opinion, STM gave the game to Acadiana in the third quarter. STM made a living on coming out strong in the third and just couldnt do it.We should all start referring to Acadiana as the 6th seed, cuz that is really what they are.... Acadiana dline is average, and I believe that will be the difference, and Paul Turner will capitalize. Acadiana will have to hold on to the ball to beat WM. I love some of the guys on the acadiana team, but I just believe WM is way too strong

Parkview's defense has been incredible in the playoffs, and they won't be star-struck playing against Hilliard after going against him last season and Jeremy Hill this year. Patterson doesn't stand much of a chance.

Alright you keep believing that. I saw just about every person on this board say Redemptorist would easily beat Patterson and have their rematch with Parkview in the Dome. By my numbers, Patterson and Parkview both beat a very good Redemptorist by the exact same amount and both games came down to the final seconds.
I'm not trying to discredit Parkview. They are certainly a great team, but without a doubt Patterson is as well. Hilliard has said the thing that mattered most to him was not all the records, but to lead his team to a championship which he has a great opportunity to do.
Patterson is not one dimensional and has a pretty good D themselves. This game be decided in the fourth quarter one way or another, neither team is gonna lay down. The kids from Patterson don't get this opportunity often like some other schools and I am sure Minton will have them ready to play the game of their lives.
