I have one who plays for PBS. They may not win but they won't fold. PBS played the former BREC all-stars tough the first time. PBS gets them at home again and it IS tough to beat the same team twice.

Oh I wholeheartedly agree. I'm not picking a winner, I just would like to see Dylan Moses vs. the veer.

I think they've been the odds on favorites since the opening week. I'd be quite surprised if either lost or even struggled in a game in their respective classes.

Unless the Catholic league wanted to lock up a title every year. We saw the power of NOLA when Karr was allowed to play in the Non Select bracket.

I heard that, that school is getting infamous for playground pimping now. I remember hearing EHS doing a chant about it earlier this year.

I love a good program with homegrown talent.

To be fair, that is rather rich coming from a PBS fan.

Official LHSAA football playoffs discussion - Semi/Quarter finals (Round 3)

it would be hillarious for the Catholic league to STILL not win after essentially having their own division.

To be fair, they weren't the ones advocating for it.

Not the split but once the split came make no mistake about it that is why 3a and 4a got their own division

Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't it look a whole lot like Dylan Moses vs. Parkview?

That said I think Parkview is going to have a hard time of it. The road to the championship goes through Notre Dame, UHigh, and Curtis in consecutive weeks... It's a murderers row of sorts. Plus you're starting a 5 foot 6, 150 LB soph at QB, lost your most dominant lineman to an ACL for the year, and don't have a man among boys running the ball like there was the last couple of years. Tons of injuries and guys playing both ways... I just don't see it. I'll be pulling for parkview but I just think the road ends Saturday.

I'm trying to tell my friend ej would be an underdog to Neville in the semis, but he is so convinced coach salt is going to the dome...

You obviously don't know crap about PBS if you think anyone recruits the BREC games on Saturday mornings for them.

kind of ironic when they are advertising free tuition on billboards and saying during tv broadcasts of games that players are being "sponsored" by other parents(paying their tuition)

did you see the article in the picayune about the NOLA schools using the OneApp system or more specifically NOT using it?

specifically McMain and 35... and of course they're "nonselect" too

but they're not still in the playoffs so it might have slipped under everyone's radar
