You could have picked him in te 2nd though.
Dallas sucked in this draft, period. Got strong armed by SF and didn't get hardly any value for their trade down and then pick someone you can probably get in the 2nd. If you can't, you still can get Jones who is probably just as good. Complete FAIL by Dallas, but I expect it these days.

I guess it has something to do with the 16 1st rounders. They're strategy was if we can get one of those guys, address what they think is the biggest problem. I don't necessarily agree with it, but they've made way worse picks, and this guy could turn out to be a stud

Best Center prospect in the draft. Projected late 1st/early 2nd rd pick.
Just because mike mayock had him at 3rd rd value doesn't mean much to me. There's a reason he's in tv and not somebody's GM.
And now we have 3 picks for tomorrow. I'm gonna reserve judgement until after our picks tomorrow

Cause Elam is 5'9 and can't cover the beast TEs in the league like Gronk, Graham, etc

Mayock had that "3rd round tag" ready to drop no matter who dallas drafted. Mayock had Peyton manning on a 2nd round grade! what the eff does he know? diddly squat.

Sounds reasonable. I was not familiar with this dude prior to the draft. At least they filled a need

This....Center is not a glamourous position but the boys need Oline badly so it could turn into a very good pick for them down the road.
