So, you like Air Force Kentucky Bowling Green UCLA Va Tech New Mexico Colorado UCF Texas A&M Ole Miss Washington Utah Maryland?
I will probably be on most of those sides, definitely not on the opposite side of any of them. Although the last three make me nervous.

Tots, I'm lazy. What are you on thus far aside from Louisville -10 and TN +27?

See my other post.
We all loved Cincy and it opened at -10.5, dropped to -7 and settled around -8.
It should have told everyone that Illinois was the play if anyone bet on it.
Another similar game this week is WKU. It opened at -9.5 and I've seen it as low as -7.5.
At first glance, you would think WKU should beat them by 28.

Love the card. Bama under might be best play on the board.

UCF is better than both teams that Penn State has played to date.
UCF should win SU.
UCF should win SU.

Here is my reason for staying away of a few games that look like EASY wins.
Home Field Advantage is a pretty big deal in College Football, a sport with huge emotional and momentum swings and 21 year olds. It's one of the things that makes the sport great. The key is finding teams that play much better at home than they do on the road.
TeamRankings.com is a fantastic site for this information in every sport.

They use a formula that bases how the team plays at home and on the road, according to what opponents they played against, and how they were expected to play.
I like to average out the previous two seasons and try to get an idea of teams to avoid on the road.
Top 10 Teams HFA teams in College Football last two seasons.
1. Washington
2. Oklahoma State
3. UAB
4. UCLA
5. Baylor
6. Nebraska
7. Mississippi State
8. Georgia
9. LSU
10. Army
It's the reason I will laying off of Washington and UCLA this weekend, and it's the reason that the lines look too good to be true at first glance.

Do you take into account coaching changes from previous seasons?
Or player turnover? Especially from two seasons ago. You could possibly only have a handful of the same starters as you did two seasons ago.
I don't like putting that much stock in CFB in previous seasons because of high player turnover.

RAS totals from yesterday
123 BGSU O61 now 63
162 Ball St U63.5 now 58
177 Kansas O57 now 59
193 Wisconsin O52 now 54.5
171 Ohio State O64.5 now 65.5
Doubt I'll touch any of these. So far only total for me is 151 Alabama/Texas A&M Under 62 -110

Absolutely. I think coaching has a much larger effect than player turnover as far as creating the culture as far as how teams respond at home and on the road.

Absolutely. Coaching would be way more weighted than player turnover for me as well.
But losing a QB or defensive leader could hurt as well.

Sometimes it's the only position that Vegas considers worth any points for the spread.

Do you think you would have won without the QB injury though? I was fishing all day and didn't get to see any of the game so I have no clue how the game went other than the final score.

Legeaux was injured in the 4th quarter, I believe. The game was already over as far as Cincy -7 goes at that point.
