Hockey is also a lot more difficult to play than say baseball or basketball or soccer for kids.

Lacing up skates and learning to skate on it's own is difficult for most kids, and even scary for some. Not even taking into account the pads, sticks, speed, etc involved in a game.

more kids grow up skateboarding and playing watersports than hockey.
i want to throw things at these kids

why blame the kids? as somebody else mentioned, hockey is very much a regional sport and probably the most difficult sport for kids to just get up and play.

What about kids from the inner city in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary?

That's true. A lot of people don't seem to understand the basic rules either, which can make it hard to watch.

I never buy this as an excuse. Obviously it helps to have a basic understanding of the rules, but there are really only two that you need to know: offsides and icing. And they're not very difficult to learn. You don't "need" to know penalties. Football and baseball have much, much more complex rules than hockey.

Another incredible effort from all four lines by LA. Larsen is a worthy adversary, but this feels like destiny. Go Kings Go!

Maybe destiny. Some very improbable goals in game 1, and in game 2, the game never goes to overtime without that botched call.

Still the kings have led for exactly 0 minutes and 0 seconds in this series. How long can they keep winning without actually ever having the lead

I was meaning second goal of the period, but thought it would just make more sense if I said fourth since it was the kings fourth goal
