Report: Free-agent Odell Bekcham was kicked off a plane on Sunday.

Flight crew said OBJ was in and out of consciousness and wouldn’t put on his seat belt. The flight got delayed after Odell refused to leave, forcing everyone to get off.

This happened in Miami, per @AndySlater

You have to be quite a piece of shite to get kicked off a plane

I have barely stumbled onto them before after too long at the airport bar and not been the most upstanding of citizens and was never close

That might hurt his chances to sign with the giants and cowboys.

Funniest story ever, I knew a guy on way to rehab who got blasted in the airport bar, as he stumbled up the stairs the stewardess told him to sit in the first seat next to the door. A little bit later two officers came and pulled him off the plane. The one said "sir you arent in any trouble but we feel you are too drunk to fly"

He looked at them as seriously as possible and said "officers I think this is all a big misunderstanding, I'm not flying the plane"

Imagine being asked to deplane because some a-hole won’t put on a seatbelt. I’d join forces with any and every Karen on the plane

When has anyone ever gotten kicked off a plane for that

I never wear it

Just move on. Nothing happens.

More than no seatbelt in every one of these stories

It’s because most of us aren’t entitled assholes. I’ve been cut off on an overseas flight and just went back to my seat to fall asleep. It’s really not hard to follow basic airplane etiquette even if wasted

I was on a flight where a (obese) passenger refused to buckle her belt and refused to use the provided extender offered to her. This went back and forth until she was finally removed, under her loud protest. I remember the loud round of applause as she was escorted off the plane.

"I never wear it"

Other than it is required by law, 14 CFR § 121.317 (f) for take off, landings or anytime the fasten seatbelt sign is illuminated, why would you not have your belt fastened during those periods?

All you have to do is hide the seat belt within your seat - I rarely fasten mine

Honestly I don't care if you want to be "that guy or girl" or not. If nobody else is wearing their belts justifies you taking a chance on your safety is worth it, then go ahead and make yourself happy.
Such a little inconvenience to get all stirred up over.
