Have a wager for you that is a win for everyone

If OSU wins, you permaban yourself.
If Notre Dame, wins you permaban yourself.

College football died after 2019. This is just a watered down version of the nfl which makes it even worse

Notre Dame has a massive national following, and tons of anti-OSU fans will be tuned in hoping to see them lose. I just hope it’s a good game.

If they weren't playing Notre Dame then you would have people tuning in to watch OSU lose, but the people that can't stand OSU also can't stand Notre Dame either for the most part.

How will you even know who wins since none of you are going to watch the game ?
All of you will be watching the game.
The fact that y'all are so bitter just makes it all the sweeter

Amazing Notre Dame forgets that Brian Kelly took them to a natty final and two final fours

But yeah, nobody is going to watch.

Why are you replying to me? I'm simply saying college football shouldn't be played this late into the month of January. I don't care if 40 million people tune into watch tomorrow night. Call me a traditionalist but I've always felt like the season should be over prior to classes resuming for the spring semester.

I keep forgetting a NC hasn’t even been played. Feels like those first round games were from another season entirely.

I remember when the orange bowl and sugar bowl would go head to head!

We have swung too far in the other direction where every bowl gets its own day seemingly

In Atlanta there is no buzz

It’s the timing more than the teams

But neither of these programs command the interest they once did, obviously

Yea. I would say the week after New Years for championship game would be fine. But this is too late.

I wish they would move the game to Saturday night. No idea why it’s on a Monday.

That said, tickets are in high demand and setting records on price. You can’t even get in the door for under $1800.

Notre Dame has played a back up quarterback and a quarterback who should be the backup.

Oh, and they beat Indiana at home.

They could win it, but then they'll make Northern Illinois one of the greatest trivia questions of all time

This is probably how the rest of the country felt for the Bama/LSU natty and the Bama/Georgia natty (twice).

1. Both teams are Top Tier National Brands. It would be idiotic to dispute that.

2. Both teams have nation-wide and somewhat global fanbases. Again, it would be idiotic to dispute that. (And, I despise both of them.)

3. No buzz for a couple of reasons:
- A lot of folks likely think OSU will crush ND. Note: I do not think this.

- In reality, mediocre teams. Playing to see who wins a tournament…not a really Natty in the eyes of most. Both undeserving….ND lost to fricken NIU at home, OSU lost to a shitty Michigan team (who also beat Alabama, lol)

People will tune in tomorrow evening…but it ain’t worth talking about.

Honestly it's kind of sad seeing you SEC folks reduced to trying to convince yourselves that nobody cares about the game because the SEC was shut out, again.

I mean the SEC was included in 5 of the Top 7, 6 of the Top 10, and 15 of the top 21 most watched regular season games this year. It’s not that outlandish of a statement that a lot of interest is involved.
