I will never dislike someone for something they cannot control, such as the color of their skin. I also refuse to give anyone a pass for saying stupid shite in 2020; in fact, I lost a ton of respect for a lot of seemingly smart people who got on board with talking about deadbeat criminals like George Floyd and Jacob Blake as if they were heroes. I think Griner and most of the other athletes who were spouting off retarded drivel that year were actually telling you how they felt, not just saying stuff to go along with the crowd.

I’m not sure if telling the State Department to bargain with a country that we’ve been levying sanctions against is a good look for any president…whether he’s “your guy” or isn’t “your guy”.
Kangaroo court aside, I would like to think the State Department would do whatever they would do for any other US citizen. Anything else would seem like elitism and hypocrisy IMO.
