I thought his home course was Riviera and Phil's was Torrey. As Tiger is from LA and Phil was a San Diego guy.

I think if Tiger can hit his wedges consistently, he will have a fantastic year.

This, for as amazing a golfer as Tiger is, he sure does struggle with gauging his wedge distances more so than most of the pros. At least recently

It's because of the swing change. This was about the point in the Butch swing change he got it dialed in. Foley and P&B stress shaft lean, and his old terrible swing was very flat through the impact area. So when he hasn't fully got the feel and either flies it or comes up short

I read something on MSN about Tiger dating Lindsay Vaughn. Of course I also read the pc about him agreeing to a $200 mill prenup to get his ex back. Who knows Eldridge.

I don't care about his golfing successes or failures, I just want more stories of him slaying trim.

Tiger was born and raised in Cypress CA which is south of LA. If Tiger had a home course I suspect it was a muni as Earl wasn't exactly rolling in the dough.

I'm a big Tiger fan but think he's going to choke this one away. He hasn't been able to string together 4 good rounds in a row. I hope I'm wrong...just a gut feeling.

This shite is getting bookmarked. It's really easy to make this statement because if it's wrong nobody will remember it. Well I will and I will point it out. You aren't a psychic. Chances are its a safe bet that he won't win a major based on the numbers. What if he wins 10 tourneys and 0 majors? Is that a bad year? Tiger haters are full of shite. Who is your golfer?

he wins there when he is playing well. Every year he has won there he won at least 4 times that year. Nice try though.

They just said when he wins this tourney he has gone on to win at least one major in 5 of those years.

Every time Tiger has a hot round or two, hes' "BACK". Let him prove it over the course of 4 days against major competition first. Several times. I am for Rory all the way, a clean cut kid who's not corrupted by fame or lacks morals..so far.

Thing is he looks more in control of his swing, short game is a lot better and his wedge shots are a hell of a lot better. Seems to be turning the corner with the new swing. Wouldn't be surprised if he returned to 2005-2009 dominance.

I'm with VegasPro. I'll withhold judgement on whether he's back or not until April. Put on another green jacket and I'll say he's back.
