What a great time of year to be a New Orleanian.
Floats, marching bands, socializing with family, old friends and new friends, with great food and spirits. The best!

NBA All Star Weekend, College Basketball, Daytona 500, XFL starts, NHL…there’s plenty of sports this weekend. There’s just isn’t any sports that you like

Depends on who you ask. The people running the city think it’s a success because they’ve achieved what they set out to do: take control of the tax base, drive out people who would oppose them and ensure the same people run the city forever.

That’s the goal of government in most major cities. No coincidence one political party governs almost every major city in the country.

I’d feel worse about talking politics in this thread but this thread isn’t really about sports. It should be moved to the poli board.
