This is probably a bit much. But in the ballpark. If he doesn't charge, I'd guess there is almost zero chance of conviction.
Conversely, if he is charged, I'd not assume he is guilty.

League champ believes they'll charge Winston just to make him talk

From a reputable FSU insider...the Winston camp was already notified of the decision earlier tonight.

So is he taking his talent to South Beach?

It would be highly unusual to announce a press conference to reveal charges will be filed. This has the feel of them stating that they don't have sufficient evidence to support a conviction and are deciding not to prosecute, imo. However, when it comes to high profile legal cases in Florida, you never know what you are going to get.

He passed three polygraph exams and had two medical examiners tell investigators that her story didn't line up. Went to trial and got cleared in 30 minutes by an all female jury.
He took a proactive approach and got himself cleared. You do realize that is what I'm saying Jaemis should do.. right?

Sounds like you immediately have doubts when someone is cleared. I'm assuming you'll be in the number that immediately claims cover up if Winston is cleared.
No, if he is innocent, he is the victim and I would want charges filed against her. These chicks with these bullshite rape allegations hurt real women who are victimized.
I've been very clear about this. I'll let you to continue to twist my words though.

Are you serious? Charging someone doesn't make them talk. It actually tends to have the opposite result.

As a black man having something like this linger is terrible. You're already forced to have to prove yourself/character twice more than the next person. Why allow your name to be sullied if you are clean?
As a fellow minority, this might be the dumbest thing I have ever read in my entire life

In this case, I think they would do a presser either way since it seems as though the initial investigation was so fricked up. Florida gonna Florida.

A friend came in to work today who knows Winston and his fam (coach at Hueytown) said he might be done with college Fball
this was after he seemed confident it would be nothing also a week ago

I believe it's actually pretty common in high-profile cases.

You would do a presser either way, but you would likely file the charges first and not announce the presser a day in advance. Still, I wouldn't be shocked if charges are filed, it just has the appearance of no charges to me.

I dunno if they'll file charges or not...just a very weird vibe with what I heard today after he was confident nothing would happen

If he is being charged, I would expect they have informed Winston's attorney and you would hear from him before the DAs presser. He would want to break the story with his spin first.
