But Meggs dropped his charges from Felony Grand theft to shoplifting because FSU policy is that a felony charge means a player is kicked out of school.
Again, where's your evidence? You wanting to believe that's why it happened isn't evidence.

It's a can't-win situation for the BCS title game too. What if voters move OH St to #2 and he ends up not getting charged, or FSU stays at #2 and he does get charged?
Players get hurt, suspended, dismissed, arrested, charged, etc. before regular season games, title games, and bowl games all the time so I don't think that should be an issue. It's a live event not a video game and real life happens. Real life is also more important.

Oh so Winston is Warrick okay but if not then your point is moot.

Haven't you read their posts? They have the highest % of posts from any fan base in this thread. Yet they don't have a bias and just want to see justice.

Obviously you didn't read the link and are just trolling, wow what a pathetic life you have. You just sit jerking off waiting for someone to come in here and give facts and then when it doesn't match your propaganda you turn into 'what's a internet, what's a quaterback, you're just a gump with an angenda.'

You've provided zero facts backing up your claim that the charges were reduced specifically so he could play in the title game (and win the Heisman
)
Now, run back to the SECR.

quote:Sure. But I think fewer poll voters are inclined to punish an entire team due to speculation about one player. If he was out injured instead, would they move them down?
It's a can't-win situation for the BCS title game too.

All from the link I posted.
quote:
Warrick and former FSU receiver Laveranues Coles were arrested on Oct. 7 and charged with grand theft, a felony,
quote:
Earlier this week Warrick had agreed to spend 30 days in jail -- after football season concluded -- in exchange for a guilty plea if prosecutors would reduce the charge to misdemeanor theft. But FSU President Sandy D'Alemberte quashed that deal when he said on Tuesday that Warrick would be ineligible to return to the team until he finished serving any jail sentence.
quote:
Clearing the way for his return to the starting lineup today, Florida State University star receiver Peter Warrick pleaded guilty to a charge of misdemeanor theft on Friday, ending a three-week fiasco over his football eligibility. By the time Leon County Circuit Court Judge John Crusoe signed the plea agreement Friday morning, which included 30 days on a sheriff's department work crew instead of jail time, the 5-foot-11, 190-pound senior was on an airplane with his teammates headed for tonight's matchup with Clemson.

I never said title game for Warrick, I said he led his team to the title instead of kicked of the team, no go back to Forced Sex University and learn to read.

How did this thread turn into a Bama fans Vs FSU fans frickfest?
Posted on 11/27/13 at 3:53 pm to Othello
Well, there it is. Othello found the smoking gun. Which news agency are you going to contact first?

You really don't understand I want him to play against Bama. That doesn't change the facts of this current case.
I was wrong about Warrick winning the heisman but I was only 12 years old back then.
But you've been wrong many times with your killer inside 'sources' as have some of your FSU brethren. So I've got a long way to go to catch up.

I must be the only one taking crazy pills. Lock Winston up. The conspiracy is underway.

To be fair..
Its more or so "after the fact"
Now that doesnt mean it didnt happen. Doesnt mean that certain people dont shutdown from football.

Yeah the police dept. didn't squat until the shite hit the fan. Now it turns out every cop in the damn department is an FSU grad, fan, or something. How's that look after the fact?

2 troubling things:
State prosecutors said:
If you were going to drop the case, wouldnt that hinge on 'lack' of proof. This statement, and Meggs other statement that meeting with JWs attorney 'accomplished nothing' is interesting
TPD has told everyone that the case was inactive on Feb 11 yet their own timeline says:
They were still being asked questions and working this INACTIVE case. Fwiw, inactive is supposed to mean, No Activity
