"This is a conundrum as a voter that is a can't-win situation. On one hand, I want to give Winston the benefit of the doubt and if he's the best player in college football, then he should get it," said John Silver of the Journal Inquirer of Connecticut. "But, character matters, and imagine the thought of Winston at the Heisman Ceremony with a sex charge awaiting him when he gets back to Tallahassee? That's a disaster for the Heisman and college football."

This story getting dirtier and dirtier...

The police officer scrutinized for his handling of the sexual assault investigation involving Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston twice requested permission to obtain secondary employment with the Seminole Boosters, according to records acquired by Yahoo Sports.

You do realize charges get reduced all the fricking time, right? Especially for first time offenders.
And you dodged the question. Where's the evidence showing the charges were reduced to make sure he played in the title game?
I swear, Bama fans are a special kind of special.

It's a can't-win situation for the BCS title game too. What if voters move OH St to #2 and he ends up not getting charged, or FSU stays at #2 and he does get charged?

The TPD has already shown signs of a possible cover-up. I don't think it's a huge stretch to say that an FSU grad DA who had Warrick's charges of grand theft dropped to shoplifting so that he could win the Heisman and lead FSU to the BCS titlewould delay things a bit so that the football team could get through the end of its schedule.
and the prosecution of Travis Johnson which ended in a 30-minute acquittal suggests otherwise.

Still dodging the question. Where's the evidence?

Once again you've been proven the biggest fricking shite-talking moron in this thread.

Look a few posts up dumbass.
Just so everyone knows, it's the exact same FSU grad DA Meggs looking into this case.

Read the entire article. Didn't find one sentence supporting your claim that the charges were reduced specifically to allow him to play in the title game.

Warrick didn't win the Heisman and was suspended for two games. In fact, that's what arguably kept him from winning it.

I never said title game. You added that. I said he was let back on team and led them to the title.
Still you look like a fool right now just stop and wait for some of your great 'sources' that have been wrong about everything before you post again.

They don't want him in the title game, they want the Heisman even by disqualification, they want and claim titles even if they lost to the opponent...nothing they see or do is but want, want, want regardless of the facts.
Their entire self-esteem is wrapped up in a school they never attended.

But Meggs dropped his charges from Felony Grand theft to shoplifting because FSU policy is that a felony charge means a player is kicked out of school.
Sure though, let's just say football had NOTHING to do with that.

I don't want them in the title game at all either.

Boosters collaborating with the police to cover up a rape of their QB to keep their NC hopes alive, sounding a lot like lack of institutional control. I can see the NCAA looking into this when all is said and done.
