I personally don't see how Winston isn't charged. If this were happening to anyone else, he would have been charged already. The evidence is very damning.
Well we all know that and we all know why he isn't being charged and possibly never will be. What is so disturbing to me is that if it were just an ordinary black student, the same people trying to protect Winston would be leading a lynch mob to murder that student.

Yep. Heisman gone now.

Stolen soda from Burger King ends it.

And those BB gun fights? What more needs to be said?

You're talking about the here and now as everything stands today. I'm asking why he wasn't questioned back in January when she ID him as the person that raped her?

You FSU people are certainly confident considering 90%+ of all rape charges aren't false.

That data is often cited and never really duplicated. I would guess false rape allegations are quite a bit north of 10% but easily south of 50%.

Well, the here and now is what they are going to be using to decide whether or not to charge him.

Depends on who you ask.

If you ask the accuser's attorney, she will tell you how TPD threatened her and then ran her and the alleged victim out of town and burned the case file.

If you ask TPD, they will say that the victim broke off contact in February and her attorney indicated she did not want to move forward at that time.

The DA doesn't question suspects when a crime is reported. Cops do. And they didn't.

Aka speed this shite up because we all know you're going to not charge him.

Wait....or could the lawyer know they will charge and he is spinning it in Jameis favor...

I think if the case is so open and shut as you Noles claim, I am not sure why Meggs hasn't closed it?

The only relevant social media stuff that can be posted here is stuff that makes the accuser look like a cleatchaser. Please edit and repost.

Heisman has to be in the back of their minds, whether they'd admit it or not.

Anyone else think a lot of voters will still not vote for him, just because they don't want him to get charged after winning it.

Unbelievable that they're gonna wait until after the BCS title game participants are set to either charge or not.

I dunno, this one could go either way. It should not come as a stretch that the TPD is stacked with FSU fans. That shouldn't be problematic. However, when the investigation commenced, there should have been some reasonable level of conflict of interest safeguards in place as well. When this detective was assigned the case, I would think his supervisors would have asked him if he had any dealings with FSU which might come back as a potential conflict.

Yeah I think many voters are looking for alternatives at this point. I also think that dragging things out will 100% hurt JW in the Heisman but will help FSU get into the NCG. Split decision as far as helping/hurting goes...
