Well are you chuckling at the conspiracy theorists that think a state'a capital police department would cover up the rape of an innocent woman for the sake of a football player they've never seen play before?

Wasn't Jaboo the #1 rated qb in his class?

Yes he was. There is no way around the fact that believing a city would hide rape for a football player makes one a conspiracy theorist at this point

So a city police department has never before covered up a college athlete's alleged rape?

Not saying that. But to beleive the TPD covered up rape makes one a conspiracy theorist at this point. Sorry but this is just a fact.

"A conspiracy theory is an explanatory proposition that accuses two or more people, a group, or an organization of having caused or covered up, through deliberate collusion, an event or phenomenon of great social, political, or economic impact." So people who beleive in he rape cover up are conspiracy theorist to the exact definition right now. So go get your tinfoil hat

As much as I dislike baseless conspiracy theories about issues such as 9/11, id agree that to make accusations that the TPD, etc. is covering up something does constitute as a conspiracy theory .

however, in this case, I feel there is smoke here.

Well, according to that definition, I'm not bothered by it at all.

We know as a fact, TPD informed FSUs lawyer, and FSU PD about the report and notified them that JW was ID'd as the subject. We also know that the asst city manager was appointed interim PD in Oct. The same city managers office that had been emailing commisioners about the victim being drunk and dropping the case

We also know TPD failed to alert the former chief or the state prosecutor, or the victims atty about its actions as per policy

When was the last time FSU was in contention for a natl championship or a Heisman winner? Pretty significant impact, if you ask me

So Meggs told the AP a decision won't be made until after Thanksgiving….

This can't be correct. After all TheOcean sources has already told him the case would be getting dropped yesterday... latest Monday.

It's funny because those sources always are changing their insider info after new facts are released and always claiming it will get dropped by a certain time and it hasn't got dropped and the continue to change their stories.

FWIW..

Rumor..

One Florida Dynasty ?@OneFLDynasty 6h
SOURCE: #Winston accuser allegations hinge on claim of being drugged, NOT on physical assault

One Florida Dynasty ?@OneFLDynasty 5h
@dave34145 Clarification, the ACCUSATION hinges on claim of date rape drug, or at least it did. Not my thoughts on no charges coming

Didnt RollTide87 hint at this a week ago?

Dna results in, tox reports in, rape kit analyzed, photos examined, social media histories archived, interviews conducted and no warrants = no charges being filed against winston.

I predict the state attorney will charge the woman with filing a false report. The detectives were right in the beginning, the woman's story didn't check out and they gave her an out.

There's a reason why one side keeps running to the media. And it aint because they have a strong case

Yeah. It's probably because the cops covered it up originally and they don't trust them anymore.

I have never seen Alabama fans attack anything or anyone like this. Not even anything that deals with Auburn or LSU

I thought about running through this thread and counting the # of negative posts from Bama fans. I'd guess it's around 30-40% of total posts in this thread.

Pretty pathetic. Now I know why they're easily the most hated fan base in the SEC.

I'd have to assume it's because a lot of people are using FSU as the team to knock them down. Most people I've seen say "FSU will destroy Bama" aren't even Nole fans. I think it would be a hard fought game and I have respect for Bama football. I just can't imagine what would happen if FSU would win. Seems like a one point FSU win in the national championship would cause a bigger meltdown than a 30 point loss to Auburn.

Didn't really have an opinion about Bama before this, but now I hope they never win another game.
