I love sports. I got to watch football, basketball, and baseball all in the same day.

MLB payrolls have been like this for years. Yankees and Dodgers have high payrolls for as long as I can remember. That just didn't start happening now.

When I was a lad, Oakland once had highest payroll in the league. Even if the As weren't leaving, it's safe to say that would have never happened again.

While they haven't won it all, the Diamondbacks, Rays, and Indians have all recently advanced to the World Series with low payrolls. The Royals even won not that long ago.

The Royals really didnt have a low payroll when they won it all. Of, course it's not absurd if a low payroll does wins it all, they just have a uphill battle, compared to the big money teams.

High payrolls certainly help, but player development also matters. MLB hasn't had a back to back World Series champion since 2000. I'd say that is fairly good diversity.

I'm glad we agree. I'm not arguing the diversity, I'm pointing out how it isnt a level playing field.

Grats Dodgers. The two best teams in baseball are the last two teams standing.

Maybe, but it will be the 6 7 8 9 hitters for both teams that decides it
