Don't pretend that this wouldn't happen anyways. There are plenty of posters who come here without insulting anyone or calling names, who get the same treatment, simply because they don't toe the line.

Nike trading at near all time highs a week later?

I'm absolutely shocked.

Already surpassed the pre-Kaep commercial stock price, and sold a record amount of online merchandise.

Good for Nike, I'm not for businesses failing just disagreed with the approach to subtly go political by making Kaep an endorser on business grounds, we'll see if it sustains but this is not to be dismissed by any means

Their stock share price dropped 3 DOLLARS and hasn't recovered yet, that's called tanking my friend and translates to billions, Nike's big enough to recover in the long run (maybe, since this is Colin Kaepernick after all) but the market's agreeing with me at this point

LOL love how this is the default response of the Kaep apologists so willing to die on his hill no matter how illogical it is 3 PCT STOCK DIMINUTION BITCH

HOLY shite Nike’s stocks dropped 3 pct points at opening bell today, was 82 Friday, opened today at 79 now plateauing at 80 LOL what clowns

Whoever conceived this idea and executed it on the biggest stage deserves to be fired, thats just fact unless Phil and the Crew just DGAF about the consumer base at-large and wanna shift to political activism in their business model, is what it is

Yeah the people who were using stock price as an indication of anything are nowhere to be found.

I'm have been on the "don't think it's a good move, but it won't matter in the long term" bandwagon. It was just funny watching people overreact.
But yeah, jury is still out on whether or not it was a good move.

Is that why you were using all caps explaining Nike poor market performance 2 days after the Kaepernick announcement? ' Chilling'?

This.

I'm more interested in how Nike performs after this story has washed out of the news cycle and is a distant memory. What's their new level of equilibrium after the right wing snowflakes have quit burning ( ) their Nikes and the left wing snowflakes have hopped to their next couple of outrage flavors of the month?

Then we'll know whether this was a good move for Nike or not.

Stock down immediately after commercial: shite-talking stock expert.

Stock rebounds to pre-commercial levels 1 week later: it's only been a week, y'all need to chill.
