I think the Blue Jackets just scored again on the Pens 24 hours later

But seriously, Columbus vs. Habs, sold out nationwide arena again. 11 in a row, let's make it 12!

Pretty ho hum first period with Jackets and Habs. Couple decent saves on both sides.

Cbj to the power play.

They sure as hell did. 7 different players score a goal. Charlie Coyle had a pretty good game. 1 goal, 3 assist (4 points), 4 shots on goals, 3 hits, and 2 blocks.

Blue Jackets have won 12 in a row, but man the Wild now have won 10- which is the longest in their history too.

The save he made on a break away with his toe was A) a thing of beauty and B) made my crotch hurt.

Pens 5 NJD 2 F. Crosby with his NHL leading 25th.

Crosby is within 11 points of Ovechkin all time, in 134 fewer games.

Wild beat Nashville in OT. Their winning streak is at 11.

Yeah the Wild are doing great also this year. That pass from Schroeder’s for the GW shot was sweet.

If they can get by the Islanders for two straight games without a loss, and the Jackets can get by the Jets, then we'll have the ultimate showdown on New Years Eve: Jackets and Wild.

Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately, that game will coincide with the Ohio State CFP game vs Clemson.

Not really a hockey fan per se, but I attended the NYR-Ottawa Senators game last night with a client. Good game, great seats, had a good time.

Hockey in person is probably the best sport to watch live.

It takes a little bit of an emotional investment to watch it on TV, but I think it's still really enjoyable.

It is December 28, and Ken Holland is still GM.

Planning on doing that too. Probably going to be one of the funnest games in NHL this year. Devan Dubnyk has played ridiculous this year, with a 94% save percentage. Not shocking he leads the league in shutouts with 5. Watching Atkinson try and score on him will be intriguing.

Anyone coming up for the Outdoor Classic?

This should be a good one. Hawks vs Blues, so much hatred, fights will be a plenty, drunk hoosiers on both sides talking trash before and during the game.

Saint Louis Finest(SLPD) will have their hands full. Nothing finer than watching a Hawks fan get his shite handed to him, and then he takes a beating from the po po. Hawks jersies covered in blood.

In the Hollowed Grounds of Busch Stadium.

Also, a Big FU to Mother Nature, the only thing that could ruin this would be rain. And it appears it will rain all morning and afternoon, as of last night.
