So are all the rest of the series best of 7?

How do you like Matt Calvert? Pretty good pickup I’d say.

Blues have at least 3 9:30 week day games this series. Us fans have been penalized for their poor play.

I work nights, so I like the late games. I was able to catch the end of Wild/Canucks on Friday night after I got off. I also like not stupidly forced to play teams from your own division like the last 5 plus years.

Division playoffs are the best since it actually determines best team from what you’re expected to win

Yes. I was hoping someone else would win.

Not really. But carry on. As usual the Central is considerably better than the Pacific.

Then win your division and shouldn’t have problem winning vs the other.

Except it always doesn't play out that way when Team X division winner has a tougher matchup the next round in the Semifinals. While Team Y division winner gets another soft matchup just like the previous series. And by the time both meet in the conference finals Team Y has an unfair advantage having less wear and tear because they had the benefit of playing weaker opponents in both of their previous series.

Divisional playoffs suck and don’t reward the work done over an entire season. They also rob fans of good conference final matchups when one division is stronger than another.

It's just a horrible way to crown a champion. I can't think of any other league that does this.

Columbus and Tampa tied 1-1, late first period. Looks like the CBJ crew is focused on other things right now (no college football).

Decent 1st period. CBJ got screwed at the end of the 1st on a high stick which was clearly Tampa player on Tampa player, but have to kill it regardless.

Texier was 4 feet from the play

Alright Bowness, prove me wrong please

Yeah, I saw that. I think Flames in six unfortunately (or maybe fortunately if it gets Bowness out of Dallas)

and off to a grand start already
