Lots of stats bearing out that Vegas is just better, not including the series score.
I feel bad for Crawford, his team hung him out to dry.

I have massive respect for Crawford. There wouldn't have been a Game 5 without him.
GG and series to the Blackhawks. Hopefully, VGK can find a way to clean up their messes in their own zone going forward.

Crawford was the star for the Hawks. What an amazing series for him. Much props.

Yep, like a mofo
Crawford gave up like 2 or 3 bad goals the entire post season, but the Hawks gave up several as a team.
I'm not sure what the contract situation is amongst the older guys, but I would bring just about this entire team back with another year of experience and I think we are a solid playoff team and see what happens from there.

So, who do you think does Vegas play in the next round?
Posted on 8/19/20 at 12:23 am to cubsfan5150
Yeah they’re such a relatively young team, there’s such room for improvement. They’ll be back in force.

They'll get the lowest remaining seed. I'm calling the defending champs.
Alexa, play Viva Las Vegas. Eff Gloria. We heard that enough last year.

They will get Vancouver. My predictions are never wrong. Vancouver will beat Vegas as well. Set in stone.

Interesting take. Someone else here said Kane and Toews should be traded to rebuild.

happy to see vegas did not choke on a dick like last year up 3-1. you owed me vegas and you delivered.
just need isles and flyers to close out now.
i am also tempted to wager on the avs to win series also now. arizona blows. avs should win. i think i will.

Let's go Boltsssssss. Will be tough to close it out but hope we crush it.

Jackets tie it at 2, middle of the second period.

Argh. Defense is not sharp today. Even Hedman has made some bad plays. Least we scored to mask the poor defense.

I'm watching on a stream so can't comment live so I don't get spoiled.
Jackets looking damn strong.

They should consider trading one of them at least. They are each at a $10.5 AAV cap hit for another three seasons. They're gonna lose Crawford most likely in order to make room under the cap, and their young players are gonna start needing extensions soon. It's gonna be hard keeping the team together.

i lost on tampa and vegas last year in playoffs. not touching tampa. cannot trust them after that bed shitting last year.

The most interesting aspect to me in the NHL and NBA playoffs will be if any of these 3-1s or even a 3-0 flip the other way since there is really no home advantage. On the other hand, they aren't road games, either. So, closing out could be easier than normal.

yeah it is basically best of 7 all neutral ice games. zero fan interaction. good thing is what you see is what you get. no worries of a team getting carried by some games on home ice to a game 7 on the road and then anything can happen as we know. for gamblers like me it is easier to breakdown. less unknowns.

Jackets sneak one through a pile of people at the end of the second.
