In a building the humidity makes ice sweat more than dryer building. Go look it up and rewatch old hockey playoff games they discuss it always. Especially in the Garden Spectrum and Cap Center. Newer buildings don’t have as big of issues due to new HVAC systems. Same principle that they don’t have heat in Mall of America. There’s so much body heat, lights, and humidity in it no reason to have heat

I'd imagine that the old Boston Garden was bad for that. I remember Boston U and Boston College having to abandon a game in another building a few years back because of fog on the ice.

It's only money. You can always make more. I know someone in my family who spends a decent chunk of money on scratch off tickets all the time. And always thinks he will someday hit the jackpot.
