They should change the entire NHL schedule so their playoffs lag the NBAs. I think they could hang ratings wise since only baseball runs in July. They should soak up the July-August no sports vacuum.

Much as I hate to admit it, it's a good thing that Vegas didn't become a hub city. I can't imagine how they'd be able to keep the ice in any kind of playing condition with the combination of multiple daily games and 115 degree weather outside.

All true. I like the playoffs this time of year, but I doubt the league will change the schedule. I don't see our neighbors up north wanting to change either.
