Damn. So I'm stuck having to watch NBA games on Prime for the next 10 years.

I'd be interested in what the median salaries are for every league

Hope you're not one of the Gator fans used to create academic rankings.

Lack of popularity Means lesser media deals Means lesser revenue Which means the NHL CBA split gives less to players

Disagree, NHL = sustainability, and increasingly larger market share thanks to the Winter Olympics. NBA = David Stern AAA bullshite, small, weak markets, and Adam Silver, who is far and away sports worst commissioner currently.

NBA got lucky this year, a two for one Adam Silver NBA special, with the Knicks being from the largest market and an incredibly likable team. David Stern, who is dead and is roasting in hell, put the league into a shite position, especially due to his small market stupidity. Oklahoma City was dead last in NBA attendance three years ago!

When I lived up North, the cost of a NHL game was 3X what a NBA game would cost.

I always found that interesting.

NHL never seemed to have a problem packing the arena either.
