Maple Loafs/Golden Knights has been very entertaining.

Lightning's 11 game win streak is over.

Golden Knights are at it again.
quote:
The Vegas Golden Knights have acquired Calgary Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson in exchange for defenseman Zach Whitecloud, a 2027 conditional first-round pick and a 2028 conditional second-round pick.

Seems like a win for Vegas since he will most likely sign an extension
They just know how to get those trades done better than pretty much any other team

Avs may be limping to the Olympic break, but hopefully this is us getting our injury bug at the right time.
Earning some big time separation from Dallas/Minnesota

it’s probaly been discussed the first 19 pages, but this avs team is really fun to watch
i don’t watch many games nowadays outside of caps/flyers (local area) but they are making caps look like a peewee club

The Avs fans have been a huge part of this year’s thread for that very reason. Obviously the record is insane, but I really think the most fun that this team is significantly deeper than 2022.
Even when we’re banged up and playing our AHLers, they’re scoring threats at this level. The Avs legitimately have 7-8 forwards between the AHL/NHL that can play the 4th line for us effectively, and then Bednar can move our top three lines around as he sees fit. Really the only guarantee is 29 is your 1C, but even Necas has played up and down all the way to the third line.
It’s quite a fun brand of hockey, particularly with how fast the Avs are.

And the draft picks are conditional. And neither come this year. I figured the Flames could have got a better deal.

That was great as were the bench reactions.
Zach Hyman for the Oil is on fire right now.

Trade rumors… look for Shane Wright to be moved from Seattle.
Kraken fans love him but he hasn’t developed. Could be packaged with picks for a desperately needed goal scorer.

I want to see where Panarin ends up
Also what Minnesota does to address scoring depth - they're not done yet

What a comeback by the Predators.

Avs looked awful tonight - not sure how you give up 6 to a shite Philly team
Hopefully this is their adversity of the season with Landy and Toews out. Blackwood has looked bad in his last two starts coming back.
Rough 7 game homestand - but this is why they built that big lead at the beginning of the season, for stretches like this. At least in the Central over the past month Dallas and Minnesota also haven't been great.

I feel like I am watching Best in Show with the announcers in the Blues-Kings game.

I feel like the last time I saw the Blues win a game on television was game 7 against the Bruins.
