Also the BS roughing the passer extended that TD drive.

The Chiefs had picked up a first down on the pass completion. The 15 yards helped to move the ball, but it didn’t “extend the drive”.

NFL can’t allow a small tv market team like Jacksonville to advance. It’s bad for ratings

One on Lawrence was worse because the DL shoved him down when he could have remained standing

The one on Henne was purely momentum driven he didn’t make any extra effort to knock him down

Also, Mahomes looks like he's prone to further injuring himself,

Definitely. Especially if he got shot up.

Do they? I love Mahomes, but it looks like he has put Andy and the Chiefs in a bad position here. His current play seems to be a liability in this game and certainly a huge liability risk to further injury of their $500 million investment. But when he’s that adamant about playing (and is so universally beloved by the media), it’s gotta be hard to tell him “no.” Even if it’s in both his and the team’s best interest.

Does anyone remember the shite slate of games the NFL had on Christmas? They still destroyed the NBA in the ratings. They win ratings no matter who plays.
