Amazon and the league announced Monday that Prime Video will take over the entire package in 2022, which will make it an 11-season deal through 2032. It was originally supposed to begin in 2023 when the league's new media rights deals kick in.

I hope they have the Nickelodeon commentator option along with the UK call.

I think this is great, personally.

Amazon Prime Video really, really needs to up their game regarding their interface though. It is hot garbage as compared to all of the others like Netflix, HBO Max, etc.

I don't understand why a company like Amazon which has good content would have such an awful interface/product.

if you look at a movie, then try to go back to your main movie, about half the time it puts you in a random place

so if you've scrolled for a bit, you have to start all over again

It also breaks up TV series into individual seasons when you scroll through shows to watch which is incredibly annoying and blatantly done to make it look like they have more content available than they actually do.

The HBOMAX app is terrible. At least on PS4 pro.

Its consistently ranked the worst I think and there is a reason for that.

It is really bad. Very outdated, not the easiest to navigate, slow. It just isn't good.

It is due for a complete upgrade.

HBO Max app is weak on Roku too. It's very slow to load and tends to spaz out if you try to scroll too fast. It also forces you to click past every single thumbnail individually instead of letting you click the fast forward button to move 5 shows at a time on the scroll bar.

It crashes and disconnects constantly on my PS4. I know the system has internet connectivity complaints and they’re true but it’s 10x worse for HBOMAX. Netflix continues to get weaker in content but their app is king.

A couple of other minor things I don't like about the HBOMax app; When you are scrolling along the highlighted thumbnail is always the one furthest to the right instead of letting you select anything on the scroll w/o it moving. The choice to have a purple background and then use a lighter shade of purple to indicate what movie or show you are currently on is idiotic as well.

They all have their own individual issues though.

Starz has an autoplay feature that you can't turn off so if you fall asleep to a movie or show it's going to keep playing new movies or episodes all night long.

Showtime forces me to put my subscription info in probably once for every three or four times I try to use the app. Are people really sharing their Showtime sub info that much that they need you to always put your info in?

Netflix is always shuffling the order of their categories and has the most random bullshite categories ever that just make it harder for me to find my damn previously/currently line. Like frick, why did the categories called Violent 90s Movies and Violent Thrillers pop up next to each other on my shite the other day? B/c I watched Along Came a Spider two years ago?

It’s not bad if you compare it to middle of the road or lower service like Peacock or even the free ones like Pluto

Problem is they are the biggest company in the world and they shouldn’t be compared to that level

I'm going to have to figure out how to hook up my parents so dad can watch the Packers.

What a pain in the arse. Not everyone has or wants streaming.

Can't have enough options for a Jets v Jaguars barn burner (or any other terrible Thursday game option).
