Im taking Denver to beat the LA Chargers. Denver's Defense should be good enough to win this one.

Runner up:
Steelers over Browns.
This is probably the safe pick, but I wanted to steal one with Denver while I could.

I've lost my first two years week two and week 3 last. Going the easy picks every time now. Steelers over Browns.

the real question is will picking Tampa or Miami cause a loophole in the system and advance you to week 2 without incurring a loss?

I went with Atlanta over Chicago. It's also my first year doing this so I don't have a fricking clue.

Seconded.

My alternative pick would be Indy over the Rams even with Luck out. I have that much faith in the Rams sucking.

I did the opposite and picked the Rams this week. Hoping they can get some TO's with Tolzien as QB

La Chargers win that game. I'm taking the Falcons.

I picked the Steelers.

People always talk about not burning good teams early in the season, but like 90% of participants get eliminated in the first three weeks. IMO burn a few good teams early until we know for sure who is good and who is bad.

Pretty sure you still lose since you didn't select a team to win in the list of games. That's definitely the case if a game ends in a tie.

ETA: Just saw this message on Survivor after going over there:

The Tampa Bay/Miami game has been cancelled and is not a survivor pick option this week

Me and you both buddy.

I mean, it's survivor, so you have to use them some time in the season. I don't see a better game than this one for them.

I don't think you realize how much the Colts suck, even with Luck. Without them, they're basically the rams.

Is it a good strategy to pick bad teams earlier in the season so later on you'll have better teams to pick from and thus a higher chance of picking a winner?

Steelers

Jets are going to be terrible but Buffalo sucks dick too. Some shitty team always jumps out the gate w 1-2 wins and that could be the JEST.
